This is number 1 of 4 in a series that I am doing.
They are all from ref's by the brilliant Gil Elvgren.
These will be framed to go in my newly decorated kitchen.
Hope you like them.:):)

I love that pup with the eye on the prize. Never need to have the actor asking the director, "What's my motivation?" It's type casting. He's a dog. . .plain and simple. He wants the cherry. . .

<queue Music>

w-w-w-w-W-W-W-W-WHoooooOOOOO let the dog's out. . . Whoof Whoof Whoof Whoof. . .

<and. . . ACTION!>

Very nice picture, Mannafig! I can scarcely guess at what the inside of your husband's locker looks like with all your pin-ups.

04-23-2012, 10:03 PM
Yes I did notice that lol. I have been quite a fan of his work for a while now.
Thank you dear Geoff:):)

Ha ha ha:D:D.
My hubby has one of the pin up's as his wallpaper on his pc.:rolleyes:
Thank you my dearest D Akey:):)

Sure I do! Good food and nice ladies match perfectly I think.
I think You should add to Your husband rolling screensaver also a pin-up looking like You ... nevere know ... just to remind him ... :D

Pin-up N. 2? They're all number one in a way and this latter pin-up looks even more malicious, with her evocative one way leg show :p and her inspirational approach to taste the cream. Your art in the kitchen may certainly tease any kind of appetite (I give for granted Your cooking is as much appealing too) so I guess Your hubby will keep fit ... :D

04-27-2012, 01:50 AM

keep going. Thank you so much dearest Geoff:)

05-02-2012, 01:09 AM
Your work is so wonderful to look at. Right down to the detail in the cake. You also have a great understanding of how clothes should flow and lay. I also love the way she is licking her finger and there is a cherry missing on the cake. Details make your work great. Nicely done.

05-02-2012, 02:13 AM
Better and better, dear Amanda. I hope Your kitchen is large to decorate ...;):D

05-02-2012, 02:47 AM

You are so good with hair. Clearly you like designing it because you show amazing patience. Beautiful.

Wonder if the pup will get that for which he begs. . . Whipped cream, I would bet.

Very nice. Must say, it's always a treat opening your pics. Thanks for the eye candy. :D:D:D

05-16-2012, 08:13 PM
I think You're soon going to have a pin-up calendar too to hang in Your kitchen in 2013! :D

to get the effect on her legs I used the
airbrush tool with a lower opacity
and the eraser tool with a low pressure.
Hope this helps a little:cool:
