I am sat watching the London Marathon on TV, over 37,000 runners and I am looking for just one lol. My son is running and just like a mum I want to see him, he ran the Paris Marathon last Sunday. The streets of London are teaming with people and bands of all sorts are playing. It is such a wonderful event with millions of pounds raised for charity. GOOD LUCK TO EVERY RUNNER. :):):)
Here is a little tribute to them that I have painted whilst watching, I will be watching right till the end which will be about 2pm this afternoon.:)

Really nice tribute to those taking part, I did some long distance running in my late teens ( what a memory) and it is so nice to watch the youth of today.
This is when age gets to be a little frustrating.:)

You clearly have your eyes out for this runner in particular.

I hope it didn't take so much effort to You too to paint. Heart is pulsing and the pressure of the blood can really be felt ...

Thank you all so very much, he did quite well even though full of cold. As usual he was not happy with the time, he said he ran the marathon in the Ironman which he has done faster than the one on Sunday but what can you expect when not on tip top form. WELL DONE anyway and well done to evedryone who took part:)
