Challenge accepted :)

All of these paintings were produced in ArtRage Studio Pro except for the western looking one which was created in the classic AR

Theres the gloop tree that was abandoned, but i thought it had some neat color and texture things going on.

For your consideration ;)

I'm eager to see the other entries

I digged in my long ArtRage activity looking for trees and I discovered I made single trees also as a style test subject. Here they are more or less corresponding to the requirements (in one case I put a group of them which can be seen as the same one from different point of views and light impinging).
I would start attaching them and then go on with as much addition as required by the attachment number limitations.

Today is the deadline so get your trees in soon. Also I would like to repost the pictures in the result window. Can someone PM me on how to do this. Quoting someone will not do it for some reason.

It's pretty simple. You just copy the image somewhere, covert the bitmap to jpeg and attach it again ...

why would you want a dead line when you could have a living thread? It's a wonderful art project... keep it going.

Here are the contest requirements. Enjoy.

Think of this as a competition where all you win is bragging rights.

I am looking for single trees with little or no background that show off your skills. You can add objects in or around the tree but the tree work is the focal of the grading. The deadline for submition is friday the Apr 13 this comeing friday. The results will be submitted by the 15th.

Here is the breakdown of the grading of the submition.

1) Technique
2) Originality
3) Humor [Yep. Make us laugh with what is in the tree.]

Lets start with honorable mention. Thease are the pictures presented that were great but there can only be one winner.

Limmy-g presented us the tree with the boy in the swing. This one presented an element of fun so it is worth presenting.

2) Originality: Yes, very original if one compare
3) Humor [Yep. Make us laugh with what is in the tree.]: A walking female autumn tree, what a laugh!

Some years ago I made this. It is Artrage all over. I mailed this after the contest was over. I hope it doen't matter to you?
