further explorations after Piet Mondrian. In another thread a forum mate (wunjo) commented that seeing a Mondrian up close and in a museum he was struck how loosely the paint was applied.. not the clean machine like surface that is commonly associated with his works.. that idea lead me here to explore the Neo_plasticism ideas but from a looser brushy perspective..:):);)

Note also add a variation on this..

Gary, I think the "roughness" adds a nice touch to the 1st one which is more complex and if precise would be too sterile for it. The 2nd being more precise works because it's simpler and as such is very clean. These are great!
