Katie... such beautiful gray greens and blues in this I like the embossed quality of the landscape... quite a dress to be "venturing" into the wild woods in!..and BAREFOOT... did someone steal her shoes?:eek:

Very nice Katie, not sure why but when i look at this it brings the Queens mum to mind, I think the dress reminds me of something she would wear on a special occasion .

Just wonderful Katie. Mind if I ask how you did the texture? Did you use the roller or knife? :):)

Can't tell if this should be on a romance or fantasy dust jacket.

Sure hope the grass is soft!

Great mood. Like a lady's fantasy triste with Cary Grant. The colors and costume remind me of one of the early color film processes. I suddenly feel a great craving for popcorn and a soda. . .

The more I think of it, it definitely feels like a great story romance with a twist of mystery. Hitchcock and his classy leading ladies. . . or maybe even Gene Kelly, since he indulged in some artistic fantasy dance numbers on screen. Cyd Charisse here maybe?

Be that as it may, the painting is wonderful. I love how you have used the paint viscosity to imply trees without making a production out of the environment. Very nice effect.

We're ready for your close-up, miss. . .
