Very romantic, Pat. The costume and long vertical format feels like a cross between Pino and John Singer Sergent direction.

As you probably know, Pino was one of the greatest romance paperback cover artists of all time -- the best by my taste. And he went on to doing gallery work. So I am very much appreciative of your selections to emulate and learn from. I had been greatly influenced by his work way back when and closely analyzed it to try my hand applying his chops to other source photos. Learned a lot.

You're right on track.

Thankyou DAkey, his art interest me so much that I am working on another one of his, so hope it turns out, I always have trouble with noses:Dso that is where I am at now, then I want to come up with my own using the experience I have learned from his paintings, I will need lots of luck and patience for that:D:D

Pat, I think if your painting were cropped right at the bottom of the mirror it would be perfect. I don't like the way the dress turned out. Otherwise very nice.
