Hi guys, I am a graphic designer who works mostly with 3d vizualisation and photography, but I decided to learn how to draw so I bought myself a few pencils and a sketch pad. I had my Ipad but never thought I could use it for drawing, I usually used it as a guitar amp for practicing, video and photo editing and the other stuff. I few days ago I was looking into a drawing app to give it a try and found ArtRage and WOW!!!! I am really glad I did.

I am still learning to draw and still getting the hang of the app tools but so far I am very impressed... this is definitively going to save lots of trees. Some people can't tell the difference between my pencil drawings and my first two Ipad drawings... Probably because they are equally bad LOL ....
Anyways.... this are my first two sketches in ArtRage.... Great Job with this app... really.

Nice shading. Very plastic way to show the subject.
My private opinion: an Artist remains artist, no matter where they come from. It's even not the skill, what builds their art, but the talent is it. Just a thought, looking at your sketches. :)

Hi guys.... Thank you for the warm welcome.

I browsed around the forums and there are so many talented people in this forum creating digital art... and that is very inspirational. I think that I even going to venture myself into some media I never thought I would like oil painting and I always wanted to learn airbrushing :) .

So far enjoying this software very much. See you guys around.

Tks guys.... quick question if I get artrage for desktop can I work on my Ipad and then transfer the drawing to my desktop for higher resolution render?

Tks.

Off to a very fine start :)

I don't know the answer to your question I'm afraid :/ If you can do that though I would imagine you'd lose some of the fidelity from the i-pad version on the desktop due to scaling up.

Ok, so I was thinking about getting artrage for my desktop to trasfer paintings from my ipad (by the way tks for the developers for the fast Ipad 3 update). But I then thought about it and it would be really hard to draw with my mouse on artrage.

So I went ahead and bought an Intuos5 medium....

I got Painter 12 as a 90 day trial with the Intous5 but.... I liked artrage so much on my Ipad that I'm pretty sure I will love it running on my 27" LED Desktop :) . So I want to stick with Artrage.

Now I'm not even sure if Artrage supports the Intuos5.... :( .

Please say yes... also... should I start with the Pro Version or should I buy the regular version and then upgrade if needed,(would I get a discount if I upgrade)?

Decisions decisions....

Tks guys.

[B]YES![B] ArtRage supports all of the Wacom digital tablets. It's really the only way to go. ;)
