Cara Silvia, ma è bellissimo questo quadro e anche ipnotico! Una sensibilità artistica degna di Antonio Ligabue! (non il cantante ovviamente):p

Dear Silvia, this painting is really very beautiful and hypnotic too! An artistic sensibility worthy of Antonio Ligabue! (not the singer obviously):p

The movement in this is fantastic. And I admire how you did the snow. I recently had a little project to do and the snow won. I switched to a beach scene to avoid it.

@limey- Many thanks!:) -the size of the canvas is 1024x768. I rarely use larger sizes, but maybe I should do it

@pat1940 Thank you very much !:)

@Sketchism71 Thank you very much!:)

@screenpainter Tahnks for your kind comment:)

@mannafig many thanks, painting the eyes is one of my favorite things:)

@Caesar :p e daie con sto cantante!
A parte gli scherzi, grazie mille del commento. La mia tigre è meno arrabbiata di quella di Ligabue, ma forse più pericolosa;)

@Katie you are very kind, thank you so much:)

@gxhpainter:D We hope that she have already eaten :rolleyes::eek:Thank you!

@Margi thank you but...should be water and not snow:rolleyes:
Perhaps I made it a bit heavy.
Doesn't matter, after all, the substance is the same:) Grazie!

@Bobbi, grazie !:)

@Weeks. thank you very much:)

Hi Silvy. Love it, it's so full of energy in the pose and its lively colors and contrasts. Don't know the ref but you made it shine bright. Great work.

WOW! Very powerful, both in contrast and the look on the animal's face. I would think it's almost hyper-real. (I know that's a term used for photo realism, but I mean it differently.)

This animal had presence and it comes forward out of the canvas because of the comparatively minimal color in the background and the brightness of the oranges and the patterning of the fur.

Your clarity of vision and attention to detail has breathed life into it. And I can feel the hot breath coming from it.

Beautiful! The expression in the eyes is amazing, and the sense of movement through the snow is captured so well.

@Belvrog, thank you very much. :)The ref is a great photo of a book of National Geographic. A good photo even if only used as a distance reference (I'm without a scanner), it is also helpful.
The shot, the shadows .... all work done. I try to work on light and drops of water for keep sense of movement. I'm quite satisfied of this one.

@D Akey :):o:) Many thanks , you're very kind.

@MaryLou Thank you very much:)

@EB thank you very much :)

@MSIE many thanks :)
