Using the knife gives you ever more possibilities for change and (maybe) improvement.............;);)

Now laying in the foreground where there'll be a lot of detail work...........thanks for your comments...........

@Shibui.........it's just the standard AR LH/S colours

Mips 9 and 10 .........lay the paint on thick and use the knife to find the contours of the rock to accentuate with the pencil..........I try to imagine the forces that made the rock............enormous stresses and upward pushing...:D

Mip15..........getting more detail now.....the extreme foreground will become very prominent(I think??)

@Albert.............thanks ........I'm not technical enough for a movie and Spielberg doesn't return my calls(??):confused:

Here's a bit more of the detail work but I've had to slow down because we have surprise guests.....

Almost finished now......just some work to do on the hills and greenery...........and I think I'll make that waterfall into a mountain stream:D

This is amazing!
I'd though the texture of the mountains were done using texture files you'd scanned hadn't I seen the whole progress. I never thought it could be achieved manually.
