Dear Gary, unfortunately the sudden translation of word sine (clear Latin etymology) evokes in my language both a trigonometrical function and a wonderful place to sail (or surf) ...:D I cannot but enjoy.

I wasn't crazy about this one until I looked at the whole image (I'm on a laptop) and then I could see how beautiful it is! Very nice!

The contrasts keep it busy and the harmonies quiet it down ... So it's visually exciting and yet calmly composed, as city lights are at night ...

Neal... thanks for giving this a chance... it does not have that readily grasp subject and is reliant on texture , color harmonies and line movements to interest and intrigue..

chinapete.. thanks for viewing and I appreciate your perceptive comments..

Excellent. Not what one might call restful to the eyes. But it's a really fine piece. It divides the canvas up in a natural 2 dimensional way. Alludes to a school that exploits geometry. But this feels very active as opposed to static both in the usual connotation of what these waves monitor, but also the vertical screen you placed over it, to me, requires a sort of re-attaching the slices to the whole. It's also suggestive of dissecting the graph, which could allude to what you're doing with your course of exploration in what makes Art in this direction. Cool!

Absolutely cool dear Gary.

D Akey and Alexandra... thanks for your commentary on this..it was more methodical and constructed in my approach after doing Red Barn..

The design, palette, definition and rhythmic flow is creative artistry in
motion. If only my brain waves could figure out how you created this
amazing EKG like expression on canvas. Pulsatingly good! :)

Just beautiful this sinusoidal wave.
Harmony and colors make me think about music. They are sounds rather than signs . Cool work:)
