A little bit of this and a little bit of that...
Started out using watercolors, painting a tree, made roots, then came the woman, and the thought of spring...

That's one heck of a self-portrait, Goldberry. Say 'ho and well met' to old Tom Bombadil when ya next see him. Love it.

Haha Albert-I never know what is going to come out of this brain. The sketch started out almost ghostly...the more I worked with her face- I gave her a more defined look. I wanted earthly tones...and have her at one with the roots and growing things. I may go over her and color the body brown with the roots. Thank you dear Albert, pleased you liked it.:)

A green music on nature wake up as an effusion of pleasure of a spring goddess in a delightful and dreamy drowsiness and about to eventually open her eyes. Great!

Thank you for your kind comments dear Neal. I wish that I had saved her original face, but most of the time I get carried away. I don't think I am finished with this one. For some reason I see so many things that I can add.

Thank you dear Katie. A favorite scene to think of from a favorite story. I appreciate that dear friend.

Many kind thanks dear Silvy!

What a beautiful comment, thank you dear Cesare.

This is a wonderful painting. My first impression was watery. Bubbles and flowing seaweed. Thought she might be a mermaid.

This is fantastic Sandy! The stylized look of this really grabbed me! It reminds me of artwork you may see on a package of celestial tea or coffee. Fantastic work (love how you designed the hair)!:):)

I am so flattered that you liked it Eddie, thanks so much.:):):) I had fun mixing so many of the tools. Oil with water, crayon with pencil...glooping-you name it. I think it is there.haha.
