Hi - first post...please be gentle :)
I have dabbled with real watercolours, but am now entering the world of cyber-painting, and am INCREDIBLY impressed with Artrage's ability to recreate the watercolour experience.

Most of the "Learn to Paint" type books I have refer to "Viridian", or "Payne's Grey", or "Cadmium Yellow" etc.

Is there an easy or even existing way to set these colours up as "Favourites", so that I can follow the book instructions, (assuming that I can figure out the RGB code for each of the colours I want to have in my "palette").

Many thanks

Hi Bruce, welcome to the forums :)

I think you might like the following site which lists the rgb values for over 50 well known brands of water colour paints.

That way you can follow along with the same brand of watercolour paints that the instructor is using.

you can find the manual by clicking F1 or menu "Help" --> "ArtRage Help"

it will open the manual which is a .pdf file.
at page 69 you'll find info about colour samples ...

I'm using ArtRage Studio Pro 3.5.4 - hope that helps :)

You're very welcome Albert, one for the bookmarks ;)
Kind of like being let loose in the art supplies store :D:)

Makes me wish I had an .xml to .col converter so that i could convert every palette on the site quickly and easily.
Plugging in individual RGB values would just take way too long.
