Rather a grim picture of a lady. I fear she is frozen solid. That window is a terrific effect.

However, those photos are astonishing. You are intrepid for going out into it. Not a lot of foot traffic, or any other traffic for that matter. Really special getting to go out in the snow. Thanks for sharing. :D

Il dipinto fa venire freddo. Well done!

silvy,
You have captured this Pennsylvanian's heart with this thread.
The painting is absolutely captivating to winter weather
aficionado's such as I ... a frosted window has for me, always
been a thing of beauty and the photos highlight the brisk charm
of the season. :)

Incredible Silvy. Beautiful photographs. We are having cold weather, but nothing like you are experiencing!

Dear Silvia, this painting celebrates the exceptional siberian cold and snow of this period in our dear, old boot with great art and almost a reference to the Carnival and its masks.
I would add also an unusual image that illustrates Rome in my surroundings in the maximum splendour of the candid cover.

I love this painting Silvy, it reminds me how I thought the Snow Queen looked when I was younger. Your photos are great and you really have had a lot of snow, I thought we had had a lot but not nearly as much as you. Stay warm and enjoy the crisp, fresh walks:)
GREAT PHOTOS CESARE:)

In fact the only thing of the lady not frozen are the lips.:D
I have a bit exaggerated.

It's been 30 years since the last snowfall of this size in my area.
I wanted to go out especially to watch the beach.
Many thanks for view and comments D Akey.

Thank you very much justjean:)

It was the first time for me too.;) Never see the snow-covered sand before, usually melts quickly for the presence of the salt.
This time was really too much.
Many thanks screenpainter:), i'm glad you like frosty effect on window.
At first I had thought about doing only an abstract without lady, but seemed too empty.

Grazie I-BRDP:)

Cold was the effect that I wanted to have seen the unusual occurrence for the Romagna coast.
Today it's sunny here and certainly do not envy the climate of Lombardy.
I am a lover of hot.
Thanks I-BRDP:)

Glad You appreciated also my pictures, dear Katie. I guess the ones of the centre of Rome with unusually much snow on the millenarian architectures were even more stunning, but I couldn't get there timely.

One more nice painting and picture. I like the close view warm accent You put to contrast the cold background.
