I have been playing around with the iPad for a while and this is my first attempt at a watercolour. I must admit trying to simulate 'real' watercolour is very difficult, but with a little perseverance it is possible to get a watery effect to a painting. I'll keep trying!

Thanks for looking....

How wonderful. An iPad on the road for sketching. Does it also take photos? Cause you would have a whole studio at your fingertip, literally.

Gotta love Venice for stunning environments -- almost like a theme park for artists.

Very nice sketch.

Hi,

Yes the iPad 2 does take photos which can be imported straight into Artrage for the iPad. It is a brilliant creative tool.

Thanks for your kind comment on my picture.

A very nice effect Steve, can't get more watery than the canals of Venice.

You should add wonderful carnival masks and attires there in this period ... :D Fine watercolor!
