I used Alberts ( screenpainter ) great oil brushes for a good part of this...thanks GZ ...love those brushes.

Rowena.. I checked out Chazal, I was amazed to know he lived in late 1700's, I love his style and colors... they do have a resemblance to some of my works for sure. thanks for that ;);):)

Very cool effects Gary reminds me a bit of when I did some Lino block printing years ago.Great work with GZ brushes!:cool::):)

Scott. thanks yes I like the lino block effect... black outlines kind of stuck on it... for awhile atleast.. I found that by turning a color into black and white and adjusting the hue/sat to get more whites and fewer grays and then painting in more white and black to trim down and shape the line and then using multiply mode you can get that effect.. kind of fun to see what happens with you do that.

Thanks Caesar...I like the bright flat colors used in pop-art.. will have to revisit some of those practitioners..:cool::cool::)

This art did not come from the brushes. Thanks for the advertisement though.
It's splendid Gary. to me looks like a painted turtle.
very lively and almost tribal. great stuff.
