Just wanted to experiment with crayons on basic canvas. One thing lead to another and I added ink and knife.
I hope you like her. Thanks for looking.

The title said something to me..................and the painting said the rest...............

Writer: VAN MORRISON

Hey where did we go,
Days when the rains came
Down in the hollow,
Playin' a new game,
Laughing and a running hey, hey
Skipping and a jumping
In the misty morning fog with
Our hearts a thumpin' and you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.

Geoff and Pat, Thanks dear friends. I really love the crayon and frosty knife on the basic canvas. I would like to try more designs. So happy you liked it.

Peter, I love this song, and this was exactly what I had in mind too! Everytime I hear it on the radio, I smile because I am brown eyed. My sisters will say, he wrote that song about me. I smile because I know it was about me:p-haha.
Thanks so much dear friend for your kind reply, words, and your wonderful smilies. Hope all is well in the country. Great to see you back again.

Gary, Thanks so much, so happy that you liked it. Great idea too, I may make this a new avatar.:)

I don't know where You bought that hat, but it looks like a 20ies vintage one reminding me of charleston and gangsters! :p
You did a really great work with crayone and I guess You realized it because it became Your Avatar. Maybe You used a mirror as a reference.
