Beautiful!:)
Very realistic painting, I like the effect of fabric of the dress, so soft, like a veil. Not have been easy to achieve. Skin and sand are lovely too. Great work Geoff

Aaahhh yeeeeessssss. . . a veritable lemon blossom secreted away into the dunes by a gentle sirocco. (or something like that. . .)

She looks like she's got a story or two to tell. Feels like she would be a great Scheherazade kind of pivotal character around which to spin yarns. Despite the modern appearance she feels classical.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, it sure helps these cold winter days when i can spend the time in front of the computer working on Artrage.

Caesar the likely reason why you cannot see the image is because it is stored on my photo bucket account and for some reason your computer at work is blocking that site.
I will attach it to this message for you.

Geoff.. it is not often that the words "mastery" come to mind looking a someone work , but this painting did !...the dynamic angle of the dune the soft innocence of the young girl and transparent parts of her dress and the crumpled and disturbed sand by her feet and hands and the beautiful handling of the figure.. beautiful but not in a Hollywood way, a natural beauty... so many elements that you have so expertly brought together... as D Akey likes to say on occasion BRAVO !!...

Your mastery and accuracy are in the perfection zone, dear Geoff. I love this painting!
I also wonder whether some reflected light from the sand, either scattered or not, may impinge back on the figure .....

Thanks guys I appreciate your feedback.
I see what you mean Caesar about the light scattering back from the sand onto her body. See that's what comes with experience.

I agree with D Akey-Geoff. I am reading these stories right now on my Kindle and could not help but associate this lovely creature with this story.
