well done. add me to the list of people who would like to see how you get those smooth skin tones... like a work in progress or script perhaps? that would be nice. great job on the figure and the details.

And I tried to make it not look like a Photo haha... I did not draw every hair separately like I normally do, and I did dot detail the eyes like I normally do....and much more details I tried to not leave out. But to me it looks a little bit like airbrushing and the frontpages of the Avant Garde Magazin about 25 years ago.....

But I am working on a way to show you all how I did this with crayons.... and I'll post the link here....

I have been drawing a lot with crayons lately....

No doubt dutch ladies are very beautiful creatures who often keep their charm at any age, otherwise I could hardly believe so much art could be produced in the centuries in Holland and in the Flemish country.
This is an outstandingly neat and fascinating painting and a curiosity, considering that it is a nice lady portrait by another nice lady. :)

Very fine! I am glad you didn't try to paint every hair! This is perfect the way it is.

I keep on trying to paint and draw in less detail, and i am practizing a lot but, it is very difficult for me because as I started drawing as I child my goal was to make every person look real and every horse too....like if they could step out of the picture at any time... :D

This is so lovely, I like the softness of the painting and the detail in the hair is enough without going overboard. I must admit hair is always a problem area for me.
