A peaceful day down on Hen St.
Another Painting 1st done abstractly in watercolor pencil on watercolor paper and scanned in. Image actually only 3" x 3" approx. Once in AR then I had fun adding a few things and tweaking here and there. Fun! You should try wc pencils. Convenient, inexpensive and quite easy to use. check'm out.

I love this new direction of Your style with pencils on watercolor. Absolutely charming and artistically rich to be fantastically useful for many genres!

Thanks Gary, Caesar, Katie and Sandy!
I bought the pencils at Staples. A set of 12 prismacolor. They are about $15.
At first I bought a cheap set of Michaels "Artist's Loft" brand but these were worthless. The prismacolors are great.
For water I just use a brush pen that has water in it and you squeeze it to get it wet and then paint away. Completely portable! A regular brush and a little water would work too.

Very good work, Neil. I love you spontaneity in your pictures and talkativity...there's always a story to read, as it should be.
I do have watercolor pencils, didn't like them that much... but i must try them again...and i will:)

Thanks Anna and Evil!
Anna, if you use wc pencils make sure they are high quality ones like Prismacolors or you will be disappointed.
