Spider Rock is a natural spire formation found at Canyon de Chelly National Monument, in Arizona. In Navajo lore it is home to Spider Woman, who is one of the tribe's chief deities.

I like the sense of a long way down, colours work well with the landscape :):) The distant cloud area is perfect and well thought out

Jibes -- I have attempted to paint this scene a number of times with this being the most successful.

Iceaxe -- the spires stand 800 feet tall and the lookout point is about 1200 feet above the valley floor. Thanks got taking time to comment
