View Full Version : Guarding The Castle

11-15-2011, 01:53 AM
hi..:), here's "Guarding The Castle", done in artrage, painter and photoshop. tablet used.
sharing a scene/environment with some mood, showing once valued, aged structure, being guarded by big, flying creatures, so not to be violated.
ive chosen a lower angle to further enhance the importance, drama and feel of the place.
all the base painting was done in artrage. in artrage i used oils and knife.
thanks for watching.

very dramatic and masterfully done as we expect from your talented hand.. I like the use of the lower perspective and the greenish cast to the light give it an other worldly and slightly anxious mood to the work.

Fantastic in so many ways. Great to see your post. You were always one of my favorite "Ragers" and a brilliant artist.

A wonderful painting, Waheednasir. Although I'm a birdwatcher, I wouldn't like to get too close to those guys!!

As I move ever so quietly through the eerie terrain, in order to save
myself from possibly being ravaged by the circling black winged
adversaries above, my instincts tell me to immediately run to and up
those dank, shadowed, moss encrusted steps and into the foreboding
castle to safety but ... what, pray tell could await me within those
cold massive inner walls? With shivering indecision and unrelenting fear
I cower and hide, head low among the underbrush, hoping that daylight
will soon come.

Exceptionally dramatic painting, the artistry is superb and what a place
to stumble upon after dark as I just did! ;) :)
