while doodling with ArtRage, a golden eye took shape and this is what it looks like:

I was surprised at how "easy" it was to create this painting by just using customized presets of ink pen, watercolour and sticker spray :)

I hope you like it :) comments and critics are welcome as always!

you won't believe me when I tell you that I originally wanted to paint a pumpkin :D :o  ... it seems I just cannot paint "what I should" .. it always ends up as something different .. lol  so yeah, this eye was meant to be a halloween pumpkin, but I'm glad you like it - thank you! :)

oh, btw, I also painted a "Halloween Onion" :o instead of a pumkin, I'm gonna post it as well .... ;)

What an amazing artpiece and interesting tutorial thereabout!
You've got a very brilliant artistic talent, dear mate!
I don't know which sticker spray objects You used, but this may be an approach to a quite original figurative painting style.

Love the style of this with so much brilliance and depth. A real gem. Pumpkin or eye, I think you discovered some valuable painting techniques. I would also be interested to know what sticker brushes you used.

@ screenpainter + Caesar (and everyone else who might be interested) ~ re stickerspray ...
sorry it took me so long to reply .. finally here is a short list of all the stickerspray presets I was using in this painting.

first, please have a look at the layers again.
for those wondering why the layers seem to look different compared to the final painting - I'm using duplicate/merge and blend modes a lot, that's why ;)

well... ya know screenpainter, it all started with your awesome ink pen preset (see first layer)! :)
I would have mentioned it here as well, but I wasn't able to find the thread where I found the preset  it's called "large glazer" and I love it :)

.. and now I did another search and I finally found it --> so sumi why don't you? (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37021) :) :) thanks so much!
