Katie...very nice I like the strong vertical rhythms in this and the particular shades of sage green.. your dancer , the flowers and the butterfly are well integrated into the verticals.... beautiful...:):):):):cool:

The gree gray base fits perfectly the floral motive. Very nice one.

Wonderfully done Katie. Brings to mind the line from one of the batman movies, something about "Dancing in the pale moonlight". This has a great feel to it. :):):)

I really like your restraint in that, similar to limiting your palette, have made a painting using a certain un-blended feel to your marks once over the gray green overall tone way in the background.

It's as if a very natural setting was suddenly turned to Art with the wave of the wand. Would make a very distinct stage for a dance performance.

Artistic, sort of brash, edgy, stylized. It feels like torn paper made into art with all those connotations.

I can hear the music and see the dance style playing out as a result. It's a very marked stylistic statement -- a variation on one of your favorite themes.
