I love the vast range of media available in ArtRage.
I tried a test recently with some paint on canvas effects and as I've always admired Dean Yeagle's iconic character Mandy, I used one of his pencil sketches from Mandy's Shorts (http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&source=hp&q=dean+yeagle+mandys+shorts&pbx=1&oq=dean+yeagle+mandys+shorts&aq=f&aqi=g-l1&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=1768l9025l0l9232l25l20l0l3l3l1l931l8637l2-2.7.5.3.2l20l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=b12f5e501efbd0e5&biw=1280&bih=892).
(Incidentally, You might find Paint.Net (http://paint.net/) has a handy tool under "Effects" called "Isolate line art" that will drop the white background out of a JPEG image, leaving just the line art behind! Save the result as a PNG image and you're all set to import it to a layer in ArtRage. BIG timesaver.)
