I am not too good at fur, so I would really appreciate your comments, this is done in wc, maybe oil would have looked better:D

Looks nice.....;) I think we have a tutorial on FUR? Not sure... Should be in the tut book if we do. If not perhaps someone will make one..... we do have some great artists here that could do that, ya know.....

Pat - a cute face and overall a good job... fur is a difficult topic but there have been some posts where it has been done quite well... :):)

This bashful feline looks much less worrisome than the title implied! :p So cute! You did a great job. Not easy to get fur out of AR watercolors. I wouldn't know how, right now ...

This is soooooo cute Pat and those eyes are so beautiful.:)

That is cute Pat but I do not think that w/c would work for fur.
I personally prefer chalk on a smooth canvas for fur, not that i am very good at it either.
Still a very enjoyable painting.

Pat, a tip of my hat to you for taking on a very challenging painting. Painting fur with wc has to be very difficult.
Love the expression on this tiger!

Jmo, but I think the ears and whiskers may need to be reduced. To my eye, they seem to be a bit large in relation to his/her head.
Regardless I like it. :):):)

Thankyou so much for your kind comments, this was quite a challenge, but I think I will stick to oil or chalk to do fur:D:D:Dand Barney I do agree with you, especially the whiskers, my hand kept shaking:D:D:D:D

This is amazingly cute. And it's a fine painting as well, Pat, perhaps one of your top efforts.

I see you've been using your fluid technique to good effect here.

He's cute and those ears!
You don't have to paint fur, just imply or suggest it as you've done here.

Neal, thanks, sometimes I think that I may over work some of my paintings:D
