This could be my all time favorite of your flower paintings. I know the term 'brilliant' has many uses. But when I say it's brilliant here I mean them all.

I particularly love the way it breathes with the transparent appearance of the paint. It reminds me less of watercolor and more of polymer acrylic glazes giving it a vibrancy and it implies a sort of saturated glow.

I also particularly like the way I can go and look at the various strokes you've put into it where I can appreciate the painted journey so to speak. It fits together like marquetry of paint strokes.

Very nice indeed Ms Coops. Careful in that the garden divas may get envious. . . :D They can be a rather rough lot, as I can attest.

Thank you Jonwood and Suha for your kind comments:)
Dear Mr Akey thank you so much for your wonderful comments, they are always a joy to read and as for the garden divas well maybe they had hold of the brush and painted their own picture, thanks again:)
