I'm having fun doing these, Thanks for all the kind comments.

Oh and the new trick is simply to get more definition on the brush strokes, duplicate the layer go to Bump Blend Mode and choose Add, Merge Layer Down and repeat till it looks good... Something else I've only just discovered, soooo much to play with in Artrage.

fraser... thanks for that tip... the deep impasto of these brush strokes and vibrant colors are great eye candy!..

I feel like in the middle of a sheep storm.

But then when I say it aloud, people tend to holler at me to enunciate.

And petulantly I say:
"Sheep! I tell you. . . a SHEEP storm! a storm of sheep as they hit their FAN!"

And as understanding washes over their faces, they nod, and go back to grazing. . .

Caw caw! No worries Mr. Scarecrow..your brain is here in this rabbit hole.
If you don't believe me, look down and ask Mr. Mole.
Go and find it for me master raven...please.
The tin man will soon be here to taunt and tease.
For the sheep are straying the harps are playing
Van Gogh is going and I am staying.

Hee hee!:p:p:p Another successful and gorgeous painting Neil!

Better and better! This painting is magnificent, fully expressive, fauvish.
It's like You borrowed Alkratzer palette and wildly applied ity to Your emotions and feelings!

Love these Sheep! I think of you almost every day I work Neil - There is a large painting of 3 colorful sheep in the hallway outside the office where I work. They look at me with their sheepy little eye's and it makes me chuckle. This really is a fantastic and dynamic series!

yessss more sheep!! :D :) :)

I love how tiny they are, and how they manage to just do what sheep are supposed to do (grazing? looking cute?..) - regardless of what's happening around them ;)

great painting, nice stormy clouds, cute scarecrow, beautiful tree ~ I like all this! :)
