Hi, I'm new here and to ArtRage. I just bought the software after being introduced to it by a friend at work. I began my career as an artist working in traditional media such as gouache and ArtRage really brings me back to the joy of using real paint.

The thing with ArtRage that blows me away is that you don't have to struggle to achieve that painterly look, it comes natural in every stroke, so the texture and grit of the illustration is real, not added later.

Nice to see so many cool pictures here, clearly the intuitiveness of ArtRage unlocks a lot of creativity!

This is wonderful! I,too, came from traditional media. I shifted to digital completely about 2 years ago. ArtRage is Awesome. Welcome!

wow.. your talent from traditional media is quite evident and very substantial.. I have seen that traditional media artists seem to flourish quite well with the digital medium..and the ability to work and try things non destructively via layers and incorporate multi media tools opens a lot of doors. this is a great work I especially like the trees... and grasses... also big welcome and hope to see lots more from you in this forum

Thanks for the nice comments!
D Akey: I'm 100% swedish and my english is probably pretty average for young people in Sweden, our culture is very much anglicized, especially in the enterntainment industry. You know that red hot chili peppers song - californication: "everybodies been there and I don't mean on vacation".

Welcome welcome welcome!!!!! did I say welcome? anyway Great work I have to agree art rage steps up the creativity a notch or two because of the ease of the program. these guys knew what they were doing when they created it. But back to your illu. I love the feeling and the emotions this stirs as a illustration and I applaud the masterfull use of the brushes and the paint. A complete piece through and through. I just like looking at this and imagining.........
