From the classic movie, "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" From scratch, 2 layers. Working size appx 9x12" at 200 ppi. Oils on canvas. This is my interpretation, not actually a scene from the movie.

Your portraits are always so incredible, and she certainly was a beautiful woman.

Wooooooahhhhhhh. . . what a look! what a. . . er. . . figure. . .

As my pal Yoda would say, "mmMMmm. . . The female power is strong in this one. . . "

You really caught her star quality in this pic, Skylar, maybe even more than the photo. You sort of distilled the charisma.

Thanks, Everyone! Back in the '70's, we had some mutual friends, and several times, I had the pleasure of being in her company. She had a great sense of humor, and could really be just "down to earth".

Jean, BB, Pat, Jibes - Thanks, my friends! Over the years, I have painted her likeness many times. This is one of my personal faves. (I gave her a small portrait for her birthday back in the '70's - I always wondered what happened to it. She probably gave it to someone who admired it.)
