Painted this one in ArtRage 1.1 which until last week was the only version I've used over the years and I still love it :) It's painted with permission from a friend on the redbubble site who has the original photo. A lot of fun. Thanks for looking!

I've made a youtube video of the process (search for "Horse Speed Painting in ArtRage 1.1") but as yet can't post outside urls. I have a bunch of demo AR vids on there.

Very nice painting. I love the brushwork and colors.

Your signature placement is almost as if you want to be in the picture as well. . . which you are anyway. It's a bit like me and my horse are tight. A personal picture. Maybe even respectful in that were the signature on the shoulder, it might connote a brand. And in front of the nose, it would be like the horse was pointing to you. Tough call where it would go and it seems it's probably in the best place visually.

Very cool image. Hope to see lots more from you.

So interesting! Never thought about sigs this way. I made a vid of this painting, the process, and quickly put the sig there mid-filming without thinking. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks everyone for commenting - it means heaps! Glad you like it!

The whole work talks about liking the horses very much.

That's so true. I used to ride as a kid and started drawing horses way back then. I'm not around horses now but it's a love and fascination that's never left me so I translate it into digital and acrylic art. Thanks AT-TA :)

hildee.. very nice work.... I like the accuracy and details but still the marks that build up the painting show a painterly handmade quality with great skill..:):););)
