Yeah.......... too true Skylar.............and helped on her way by the true Demons who should have been protecting her!

Great depiction Mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think smileys are in order here but they are implied for your painting Sir!

thank you Skylar, Amy looks beautiful in your painting.
I hope she's gonna have fun with Jimi and Janis and Kurt (all died at age 27) - I for sure am missing them all! R.I.P Amy

Just a rider....................I've looked at a load of photos of her................and you have captured the innocence of the girl my friend.........something that none of the photographs managed to get. Well painted Skylar!!!!!

I did this just after seeing the announcement. I rummaged thru some images, til I got a feel for her likeness. After that, I took about 15 min to do this one Using a picture of her with a guitar as a ref, I used primary colors- it seemed appropriate

Great portrait Skylar!

In such a case I always wonder how much responsibility do have people around for this, many of whom probably much more interested to her as a great business rather than as a person. As far as I know of her (not so much), everybody just assisted to this tragic decline and not action was taken to try to re-build and cure her with any means, also forcefully at start if required, to avoid what seemed since long time a gruesomely approaching prophecy .... :(
Your painting, dear Skylar, is a superb portrait and interpretation of her, "requiescat in pace!".

Beautiful portrait of a most talented lady who will be missed:)

The wide, bright areas on her body remind me of the flash light. ...Aggressive white light was everything, what our world had to offer in the past...
I don't know whether by accident, but showing this in you painting raises the expression in very dramatical way.
