I was curious to use thick paint and loaded knife only and knowing of the death of the great painter Lucien Freud, I thought to give the go to this quick test on an essential canvas small sized ...
The style is rough, but I hope You may find this interesting the same.

Very nice rendition...don't you just love the loaded knife feature? I think it was a fantastic addition to our set of tools...

Caesar - excellent effort on this I like the cubist style ( necessary when using a knife ) but you achieve remarkable details and colors...;);):):)

Thank You, dear Semd74! I always loved the hard knife, but with this load feature it becomes a terrific tool for quite a number of brushworks and styles!

Right, dear Albert! The knife with and without this new loading feature, may decisively help in quite a number off styles. Cubist, Futurist/ Constructivist, Plumée, maybe Divisionism, to some extent and some geometrical abstract styles. I think it's worth an exploration by anyone willing to have fun with these styles ... Thank You!

I like this one very much Cesare and it is quite different for you. It really makes the viewer look closely at the brushstrokes. Well done:)

Hi Caesar, I commented on this painting this morning but glad I checked again because it did not go thru, must have pressed wrong button:DSo I like this a lot, the brush strokes are very nice and do like the soft colors in it, nice experiment;);):)

Dear Anna, I just gave it a try on a small area, as You can see, and it's great. I'm using it anywhere now, more or less, depending on the style. Thank You!
