I just tried the most exciting feature of 3.5 ...the loaded knife. I hope, you like this small SF illustration. :)

I like this painting a lot, and I, too, have quickly became a fan of the loaded knife. It was a very good and needed upgrade to AR

Oh yes, love it, how do you get to the loaded knife?, I do not see any preset for it and when I just try using it to paint with colour nothing happens

Thanks for positive feedback everyone :) 3.5 is really huge enhancement to this program IMO.

@ justjean:
You can use loaded palette knife only with the type 'flat' and 'edge'. Then you can access dial 'Loading' directly on its 'Settings' panel. Just give some amount of load with the current paint color.

Heheh Jibes, It was fun to paint this scene. But even more fun was to think what happens next... You are right, he doesn't seem to be certain to see just water hydrant. In any case, he is about to to get completely wet :D

Makes me wonder if there's a guilty looking dog just around the corner ;)

Really love your use of the crosshatch layer texture in the light and highlight areas.
