Based on a photo I took many years ago. To paraphrase and change one of Robert Browning´s comments when asked about the meaning of a poem: "When I took that photo, only God and I knew where it was. Now only God knows." :D

Hope you find something of interest.

Scott - I like what At-TA said " you can do what I can not"...:p;). this is a wonderful image I like the strong blue in the sky and the rich texturing of the stone work.... the strong sunlight creates a real dramatic lighting and mood... really nice effort... one of my favorites of yours:D:D:D

A lovely painting and the perspective leads the eye right into the various elements of the painting.

This is another masterpiece of Yours. The tonal contrast between highlights and deep shadows speaks of Mediterannean sunny places and all, including the ancient architecture, is quite familiar and gives me flashbacks of places I've been in, even if this view is actually from Spain ...

It is stunning indeed. One of those fabulous pieces where one is drawn in to the canvas to another time and place.

Hi there Scott! :D
Your painting is very beautiful and the composition wonderful too.
Did you run this through a Photoshop filter I wonder? ..it has an overall pattern that reminds me of a filter I once saw in Photoshop CS.
Either way a wonderful image!

I'll agree with everyone else because it is.

Terrific, as seems everyone's sentiment. Well done.
And the quote is sublime - reminds me of a LOT of life. :)
