View Full Version : Using Canvas Textures

This is an abstract using varied roughness and texture sizes along with water color brush, gloop pen, fill tool and metalic and non metalic colors. The way the paint fills the texture is fascinating. When I went as far as I wanted to with colors, etc., I turned off the roughness and grain size and was left with this result.

Nice work Bobbi.

Using the layer textures is fun, isn't it? I vary them a lot, when using the watercolor tool, to get different bleeding effects, or to make it look as though the paints were sponged, or dabbed.

Thanks for posting this interesting painting and demo. I'm guilty of not exploring Canvas Textures but now that I see the power I am intrigued!
