He was also in one of my all time favorite movies(The Princess Bride)
He will be sadly missed:(

Oh no......... I didn't know. I loved his shows and his style and his manner. Good grief. :( I am so sad.

You got him and his expression perfectly! :eek::):):):):):)

May he rest in peace! He had an horrible ending of his mortal life, poor guy.
It arrived in Italy too with that characters several years later and we called him Tenente Colombo, since the Italian name corresponding to the Latin Columbus, is actually Colombo, the masculine for dove, that in Italian is feminine, a name still present in Liguria whence the famous sailor You feast in the Columbus Day came from.
