I thought I would try my hand at an abstract. Sculpture is the name that came to mind. Went for a Triad color scheme with a complementary Orange.

This is a really nice painting, almost in the Metaphysical style of Giorgio De Chirico and with the palette of Renato Guttuso.

Neal.... guess I missed seeing this yesterday:confused:.... but I like this:):)..It has your touch with the handling of the brush and although you kept to a simple color scheme the range of tones and contrasts make it... the interesting volumetric forms flow to make this a very nice piece...:):cool::cool::cool:

Looking good,
I especially like the variations of the background blue,
making it appear to be an outside sculpture, moving with the wind.:)

Even though the "Sculpture" seems restricted by tethers, there is a
contradictory vibrant flow of energy to it's substance ... what might
be imagined as a song to be played that, even though the printed
notes are confined to a music sheet, could move to it's own rhythm
beyond the page by the musician or singer. Spirited yet sensitive ...
just love this! :)

When looking at this Jibes it brings to mind the restrictions of a dancer maybe outside influences or by the limit of their talent but there is no restriction to your talent as this painting shows. Good work Jibes:)
