This is evidently 3-D, a sort of colored bas-relief. Moreover the blue of the flowers is particularly delightful.

Experiment like Madame Curie discovering Radium was an accident. Hahah. At least according to the old BW movie.

This is great! I love the stylization of the plants and especially the paint application which is juicy and hand crafted feeling. What surprised me in a good way is the open space.

While the saturation and value of the yellow is sort of overpowering like sunlight in the eyes over the more shady earthy flora, the daubing of paint in that yellow open area while subtle is consistent with the rest of the picture and thus keeps it 'of a piece' in the context of a painting.

I think your design is great and the way you interpreted the flowers is really well handled and communicates a sort of quality of a floral arrangement.

Excellent!
