I've just received a private message asking about my background in art.......lessons,influences etc, etc.

I explained that I have had no training or help in what I do except from comments and invaluable help here in these forums from people far more knowledgeable in the field of art than I will ever be.

So, I thought it would illustrate better what I wished to convey....... to show two of the first images I posted here when ArtRage was in version 1 ........totally free and much more basic in it's operation than it is now...........all kudos to the team at ArtRage for their unbelievable talents in bringing this program to it's present level of excellence (take a bow Guys.....you've earned it :):):):):):):):):):):))

It found a niche in my artistic endeavors (never having drawn anything before it) and helped me to express my imagination to a level that I could never have imagined.

The 2 pictures show both sides of my randomly inquisitive nature and, even though by the standards of what we can achieve with AR today,I remain quite proud of them! Both were done using the electronic rodent (mouse)

Peter, you are a fine example of the fruit of labor. You've worked hard toward your goals and accomplished the above and beyond. I love your creations!

You are an imaginative, prolific artist with a wide range of interests. And it sounds like you did it the old fashion way...you earned it. Some call it OJT - On the Job Training or the School of hard knocks. I imagine you never give up.

Your previous post suggested you would not repost your earliest works. I am sorry they will not be available, though I look forward to your future works.
