This is another of my Hair-um girls. She is Natascha McElhone, The actress who is in the Series "Californication" -An unusual beauty. Digital Airbrush. Orig. working size was 3000x2275 pxls at 300 pxl per inch. This isnot a manipulated photo.

There should be a word that is given for a non manipulated painting whose realism accounts not only in exceptional photo-esque realism but expresses something deeply about the person's character being portrayed. You only see this in the best of portraits.

Skylar, this is your best portrait i have ever seen done by you. It has soul in her eyes, beauty on her cheeks and sweet whisper on her lips, gentle breeze in her hair... exactly as i like them to be :-).... congratulation to a wonderful work!!!!

Thanks, Everyone for the wonderful comments.

GXH - I do what the masters (Vermeer, etc) did, I trace the features to get them accurate, and then sortof go off in whatever direction it leads.
