This is wonderful...really touches some great memories for me.
I think I was about 8 years old when I learned to drive on an old McCormick Farmall like this one. :):)

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement, I have never tried a watercolour before, but it was fun to do.
I set my canvas to 2500 wide at 300 dpi so I could get some detail on the tractor.
Glad it brought back some memories for you barnburner, this old tractor belongs to a good friend at the next farm to mine and it has had quite a bit of work done to it.
Very handy for raking when we are bailing.

So beautiful indeed. We live in West Virginia and it is a delight for me to see the farms!:) Looks like the winter wheat is growing real well in our area now, pretty soon it will turn golden.:)

Thanks, having just gone through one of the wettest Aprils on record our problem is going to be getting the ground firm enough to support the weight of the big tractors.
I think it is going to be a very late season.
Still we can always spend time on artrage.
