This is the restored Rose Blanche Lighthouse, it was built in 1871 of locally quarried granite.....done in oil and knife

pat - beautiful work on the foreground and middleground and rocks...this is a very nice painting, you really seem to be evolving your brush work into a looser and I think more painterly approach, good work!:):):):):):)

What a lovely painting Pat, you really are coming on in leaps and bounds. IMHO if you just added some shadow under some of the rocks to anchor them down this would be perfect. Well done:)

Katie, thanks for the reminder, I did the rocks on top of the hill and forgot the lower rocks shadows lol,;) appreciate it for pointing that out:):)
