With pleasure I spent sometime with this delightful painting. There is a great deal to enjoy besides the obvious elegance and great talent of the artist. The centerpiece is the beautiful and alluring lady in the revealing peacock dress, who happens to be the server, serving "PeaCockTails" as the title satirizes.

The structure, (in my view) is reminiscent of Art Deco of South Beach. It's complex milky-white marble stairs and bending, climbing bannisters leading up to the patrons. The entire structure is draped and accented by jade color plants.

But what of the pigeons, those common pigeons, which catch the eye of a smiling server? Likewise, the stick or baton-like queer item in the server's hand, the peacock above the arch to the left.

OK. I know. I am still having problems with subtle symbolism and vases. But art is full of symbolism so I look for it . Don't worry, I have an appointment with my medicine man. I just wondered what ianesomm had in mind. Whatever...it was nice spending time admiring and pondering this artist's piece.

Wonderful painting.

Another top model made skinny by vanity ... :D
The illustration is a very good one and it also made me think to Escher wiping out his visual paradoxes.
Moreover and curiously the style is much similar to that of our mate Mannafig.:)
