Very beautifull done.....I whish I could paint like that....so many details with such less strokes....

Gorgeous brush-strokes you made to describe those trees!

coops - love this, I can just imagine riding my bike along this quiet country road next to a lush forest. The greens and forest are great and I like the way you made the road disappear in the distance... gives this a nice depth.

There's light, space, depth, air in this painting where colors and tones are so right that no precise detail seem necessary to make it credible.

I liked a lot I feel like I was standing there on the road
It is also similar to the roads of Lebanon mountain

Hey Coops, you did it again. That tree line of contrasting light and shade on the edge of that beautifully curved silky powder road intersecting the horizon may look simple. But in this serene, simplicity dwells a beautiful idea.

Nice Coops.

I feel like I've been there before Ms. Coops, an erstwhile day zschavooo o o in the country. . . a trip to visit the muse on a plein air summer. I can hear "Breathe" wafting through the trees . . . good for the soul, this road.

Edit: had to change the link because it wasn't playing in some countries apparently.

This link may work -- for the music not the concert atmosphere (which is cool but not what I was aiming at saying about your painting). . . so for the music!

Thanks Muir, Anna and Waheed for your lovely comments, they are always appreciated:)
Dear Mr Akey once again you bring a smile to my face and the music you so kindly provide a link to is really stunning. I love to listen to music when painting and this music brings many different places and scenes when I close my eyes. Thank you again :)

Katie, a painting that makes you relax ... thinking ... feel good about life and nature. This is a road for good, for beauty ... I think there at the end of this road is Katie Coops.
Akey thanks for remembering the good times. Fantastico.
