coops - beautiful. I like the balance of leaves ( greens) to flowers nicely balances compositon and the greens read very clearly without being too tight with the color handling... overall great effort:):)

What wouldn't a plant of Your garden do in order to be noticed by You, dear Katie, .... and get a wonderful portrait? ;):D:D:D
Very beautiful painting ... and amazing green thumb, if You say it too for excellent gardeners.

Well, Ms. Coops, it's as if Tommy Dorsey's swing band just struck up a tune and the jitterbugs at the USO canteen were getting in some fun. . . only this old BW movie was colorized. How screwed if one pulled guard duty that night. . . <explitives deleted>

I love the sort of frenetic resonant character to the marks. The green marks are roughly the same size, but you have aimed them in different directions with different values creating individual though uniform movement, giving a feeling of a dance floor viewed from overhead. With the lasses in lavender trying to dance with everybody. . .

But all that nonsense aside, it's a really beautiful, free painting with one foot in realism and one in abstraction. Well done!

I wish I had your eye for colour and beauty in simplicity coops. I don't think I've ever seen a piece from you I didn't like. This one is the latest in a long line of lovely pieces from you.

This flower symbolizes everything good in human nature: humbleness, sweetness and generosity.. and beauty, one cannot overlook that..ok..simply said, spring already arrived in your canvas garden and is so colorful and joyful. As usually, Coops, very well painted. :)
