I was looking at Chardin's apples and I thought I would try them with a few variations mainly because I couldn't quite figure out what the apples were sitting on and I just couldn't draw that goblet :D it's just a small one 600 x 483 pxs on a rough canvas

I don't know if this is the right term but the hue or sense of like colors draws you into the atmosphere of the painting. The sheen and grain makes it look like it is painted on canvas.

That canvas and viscosity of paint are well melded together. They really give the feeling of something in the dimensional world as a 2D image on a 3D surface with thick paint.

Fantastic Justjean!

I like how you worked the canvas not to show through most the highlights.
