Asked a friend if he had any ideas on what I should draw and he came up with this...
It was a little weird, but whatever lol.

They say art is an expression, it is. Personally, I like it. It says a lot and was done with your special talents as an artist. The subject is not the issue but the quality and uniqueness of the artwork is.:)

Looking forward to seeing more.........

It appears to me to represent the King of the new World Order....hehe

04-01-2011, 02:57 PM
It's cute :D they're dwarfed lol well done :)

04-01-2011, 08:01 PM
Ahah :p! Very creative and imaginative!
Is it a portrait? He looks a little like M. Sarkozy, or is he his similarly small and a little more famous Corsican predecessor? :D:D:D

04-02-2011, 06:02 AM
The pose reference came from an image of the latter, if Napoleon's who you're talking about lol.
I'm just going to go ahead and do what weeks is doing and post my other images on here instead of starting new threads. This was just a quick study of a screenshot from the movie Sucker Punch. I swear this movie was just so beautiful to look at, that any screenshot from any time point could be neat to look at on its own.
Oh, and this was done with mostly the crayon tool, and the airbrush tool was used for the sky!

That's pretty impressive that you pulled that off. I don'tthink I would know where to start with that kind of an idea.

04-02-2011, 08:48 PM
Thanks for the compliment, J Witt!
I found out that you could edit layer colors on here too, so I messed with that on this rushed piece.

04-03-2011, 04:28 PM
Just a quick gestural sketch. Got a pose picture from posemaniacs.com if anyone's interested!

04-04-2011, 12:13 AM

I don't know where I was going with this...

04-04-2011, 09:21 PM
You're a quite versatile painter! Very well!

04-05-2011, 06:53 AM
Thanks, Caesar, I appreciate your comment. Unfortunately versatility isn't skill :(.
But I plan on referencing alot more photos and doing more studies!

04-05-2011, 04:31 PM
Decided to draw a skull to get a better grasp on shadows and light. Any criticism is welcome! The skull isn't exactly proportional since it was pretty quick.

04-05-2011, 06:20 PM

04-05-2011, 07:57 PM

04-08-2011, 06:12 PM
There's this big lady at my job that's extremely bossy and she tries to pass her bossiness off as a gesture of good will. So we all call her "Mama Bear".

04-08-2011, 07:13 PM
I hope You don't look like a salmon to her then! :D
I could hardly bear such an attitude ... :p Fantastic painting!
Did You show her ... or is it too dangerous for You, Ranger Smith?:D

04-08-2011, 07:42 PM
@Caesar. It would be too dangerous - one strike from her strong and heavy paw would leave me horribly injured!:D
Just a quick doodle before I go to bed - it shows I'm sleepy and that it was real quick.

04-09-2011, 03:48 AM
This is a really impressive nocturnal portrait!:cool:
Don't tell me it was Yourself needing to sleep! :D
