View Full Version : A beginner....my first attempts

03-23-2011, 10:16 AM
Hi. I have got into painting and art. I'm 38 right now and haven't done anything since my school years... still I'm enjoying it now.

I have played with a little oil paint, Brushes and ArtRage on the iPad and ArtRage on my Wacom Bamboo on the PC.

Any comments, suggestions, help or otherwise appreciated.
Thanks for looking.

Also, loving ArtRage. It all feels so natural. Cheers.

Here goes :}

1. Playing with real oils... a small painting of my baby daughter.

Hey swede
Nice work! Lots of character!

Thank you both for your kind words.

I have started to look through the forums and galleries. It's great to find such an active and friendly bunch of people!

I've been playing again with the PC version and the Bamboo tablet. I love it. It's so powerful. The chalk and spray paint are quickly becoming my favourites...

Anyway, here's the mish-mash results of my 'playtime'...

Swede - very nice work. I too am a noobie and I poked around this forum for a month before I made a post but everyone is very supportive and ArtRage is such a cool painting program especially with a pen tool like the bamboo or wacom. Very nice work. I think the best way to learn a tool like is just to play and doodle and experiment it is not a waste of time to do so ... so keep at it.. I plan to..:):)
