Hello
I hope that you like
.......
He lets me listen, when he moves me,
Words are not like other words
He takes me, from under my arms
He plants me, in a distant cloud...........
He tells me that I am his treasure
And that I am equal to thousands of stars
And that I am treasure, and that I am
more beautiful than he has seen of paintings
He tells me things that make me dizzy
that make me forget the dance and the steps
Words...which overturn my history
which make me a woman...in seconds
He builds castles of fantasies
which I live in...for seconds...
And I return...I return to my table
Nothing with me...
Nothing with me...except words

That's an amazing poem as well as very hot paintings. I am impressed with the depth of your feelings. The picture and the poem feed each other.

Nice stuff! and I think you like shoes. . . hahah. That second one is very clear.

Love it Suha. I think that Nizar describes this feeling so well and this is so in tune with your cool painting.

The paintings map the poem brilliantly - and yes, that is one powerful poem to use as inspiration. Beautiful visual interpretations. :):):)

You made me curious to know more of this poet, dear Suha, so mysteriously well interpreted in Your artpieces where what is stated is only part of what is understated.
I'm pretty sure that the original words in Arabian would make this verses shine in their full magnificence, as it it for any native language of a poet, and it would be nice to have them written as they are and read by a vocal program, no matter if they cannot be understood directly.
Poetry is as much meaning as sound and music and harmony and it would be a pity if one day they would be appreciated only in one or few languages and by only a part of the great poets depending on their language, no matter how universally spread or known, because beauty is not in vastitudes and numbers, rather in depths ...
Thank You for sharing!
