A poor and happy place . People sit in boxes, drink beer and other beverages and baloney. The man beside prepares a barbecue, the radio plays Almir Guineto (http://files.proartes.webnode.com.pt/200000639-5b3a45c347/Wooden%20Crate%20Bar.swf). Certainly Arthur Koestler, would sit in one of those boxes, accompanied by one of his women and some friends, would ask several drinks and would talk about the act of creation. I would like to be in, in this unreal scene, just listening to his conversation. I think that Akey, too.

Outstanding. And your background notes add a dimension that somehow brings it even greater life. Inspired piece - great brush work, terrific balance, harmonized color, soulful perspectives - so much of what makes your work some consistently successful. :):):):):)

So full of life and light! As always, your use of color and your brush strokes are great! There are little places like this in parts of Argentina as well, and they´re always fascinating to visit.

My dear Doctor Lima, please permit me the honor of buying you a drink is this remarkably well painted bar, and let us talk of things like the vitality of art and friendships in far away places that endure.

You have a remarkable gift for the many dances that keep the heart beating a samba and pumping color through the veins and out through the fingertips.

You are a colorist sir and like a foreign correspondent, you send back images of your journey through a cavalcade of impressionistic sights, sounds and flavors.

I would only critique the 'end game' metaphor of the song. I think there's too much fascination for that to work except as a counterpoint perhaps. Cool music though and it's great in tandem with the picture you painted so well.

Bravo, as ever.

The night too swarms with people and life in the streets and in the bars in such a warm and hospitable atmosphere!
Your art and style can express and share all this in any human sensation and feeling register! Another wonder!

Dear Lima, once passed a place like this in Pennsylvania, just someones back yard gathering, will never forget thinking that those people are so happy, not a care in the world, of course that cannot be true, as everyone has troubles, but at that time those folks knew how to have fun and relax and enjoy each others company, your painting sure is warm and beautiful!!!:)
